Bardcard Privacy Policy

Hello! Kevin and Jon here — the founders of Rascal Magic. We highly value privacy and do not use your personal identity data in any way. We don't use in-game ads, we don't sell your data to brokers, and we don't transmit your data to social media sites. None of that jazz. We're not in the gaming business to deceive you; we're in the business to entertain you. We do it for the love of the craft.

So what data do we transmit from Bardcard? Data that helps us make the game better.

If your game crashes, we collect data pinpointing the spot in the code that caused the crash. This allows us to fix the issue so you (hopefully) never experience it again. We use Sentry for logging errors and tracking issues over time.

We collect anonymous gameplay data that helps us make decisions on further developing Bardcard. This data is transmitted when important events happen such as defeating a monster, leveling up, obtaining an item, and adventuring to new areas. We use PlayFab for aggregating this data.
